Why You’re Not Getting Results With Pinterest Marketing

This post will share five reasons you’re not getting the results you want from Pinterest Marketing.

I get it. Pinterest CAN be tricky.

Putting in so much work and not seeing the results can be frustrating.

You can spend all day manually pinning and wouldn’t even get 1,000 impressions.

Not to talk of link clicks.

Everywhere you turn, someone somewhere is posting screenshots of viral pins that got 5000 – 50,000 link clicks all at once.

But it all feels like a dream, and you keep wondering when you will get there.

I get it. I was once there, too.

That’s why I’m going to share some of the mistakes you might be making with your Pinterest marketing efforts.

Here are five reasons why you’re not getting results from Pinterest Marketing

Your profile is not well-optimized.

The very first thing you need to do after creating your Pinterest account is optimise it.

Many people use Pinterest for personal reasons and don’t shift to a business mindset when it is required.

They keep using their blog/brand Pinterest account like a personal one.

Shifting your mindset will help you ask the essential questions required to succeed on Pinterest.

When your profile is poorly optimized, you’re telling the Pinterest algorithm not to take your account seriously.

Your name, bio, profile cover, and website are the key things that need to be well-optimized with keywords to get results on Pinterest.

5 Reasons Why You’re Not Getting Results With Pinterest Marketing

You’re not creating click-worthy pins.

Yes, your profile is well-optimized, but are your pins attractive?

Are the fonts legible, and is the overall design click-worthy?

Granted, we don’t all have graphic design skills, so it can be difficult initially.

But you have to learn.

That’s the only way you will get better.

Thankfully, there are tons of Canva templates that you can customize and use if you’re completely clueless.

Creating bad pins is definitely one way to hinder your Pinterest success.

Try dedicating some time to work on your pins, and you’ll see the vast difference in your results.

Also, don’t be too hard on yourself. The more you create pins, the better you become.

You’re not implementing Pinterest SEO.

So, your profile is optimized, and you’ve created some decent pins, but you’re STILL not getting those link clicks.

What about Pinterest SEO?

Have you optimized your boards, pin titles and descriptions with keywords?

Have you given Pinterest enough signals to provide more information about your pin?

If all of these are not in place, but you go ahead and dump your pins on Pinterest, hoping they would catch on, that is not a good strategy.

You’re literally shooting yourself in the foot.

Make sure you work your pin title, description, and hashtags with enough keywords to tell Pinterest what your pin is all about.

When your Pinterest SEO is in place, Pinterest will reward you with all the traffic you’ve dreamed of.

You’re not consistent.

So, you’ve got your Pinterest house in order and seen improvement in your monthly views and impressions.

But you only post pins when you write a new blog post once in two weeks.

Don’t you manually pin fresh pins and schedule at least 20 pins daily?

Pinterest is not a priority, and you’re just not consistent enough.

There’s no way you’re going to get results, trust me.

You have to put in the required work AND be consistent with it for at least three months.

With Pinterest and social media in general, consistency is the name of the game.

So the earlier you understand that, the better.

You’re not patient enough.

It’s one thing to be consistent for one month; it’s another thing entirely to be patient enough to wait it out.

Because sometimes, you will not even get results after the first month.

You’ve got to be patient because one day, you’ll wake up, and your analytics will have soared beyond your expectations.

All the hard work you’ve put in by being patient will eventually be rewarded.

It goes without saying that Pinterest requires patience and consistency, so brace yourself!

I remember the first time I tried to master Pinterest marketing because I was ready to introduce it to my clients.

After spending about a few weeks on the platform, I didn’t see any visible results and dumped it.

I wasn’t patient, nor was I consistent enough to put in the work and get results.

But that, my friends, is history because I’ve had to learn the hard way.

I’m really hoping you don’t have to do the same.

So, if you’re ready to work hard and commit to your Pinterest growth, EllDuclos’ course (affiliate link) fast-tracked my growth.

Instead of spending hours experimenting with various methods, Ell’s course saved me so much time and effort.

I’d totally recommend it to everyone!
