This post will be reviewing the Cosrx Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream.
At this point, it feels like I’m reviewing another COSRX product every other month. But it’s honestly not my fault that the brand has so many decent affordable products for my skin concerns. So far, I’ve reviewed;
- Cosrx AHA BHA Toner – 2021 Review
- Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream – Review
- Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid Review (2020)
- COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream – 2020 Review
- COSRX Snail Mucin Power Essence vs Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence
And I have the COSRX Centella Water Toner on the way which will probably be my review for next month.

I’m not particularly crazy about eye creams as I don’t particularly suffer from any under-eye concerns such as dark circles and wrinkles. Asides from the occasional puffiness when I don’t get my complete 7-8 hours of sleep, I just like to keep my eye contour moisturized. Typically, I use emollient moisturizers which are always too heavy for my eyes. So, I try to get a dedicated lightweight eye cream. It goes without saying that this review will be based on my experience with the product as opposed to the performance of its claims.
Let’s get right into it!
First Impressions of the COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream.
According to COSRX;
Non- heavy, double-functioning eye cream that visibly brightens the eye area by helping diminish the appearance of dark circles and puffiness with 72% of snail secretion filtrate, 5 types of peptides and niacinamide.

Ingredient List & Fragrance
My absolute favourite thing about this product is the ingredient list. The first time I saw it, I knew that I had to try it. Thankfully, I got in on sale when I least expected it. It is packed with;
- 72% Snail Secretion Filtrate
- Niacinamide
- Vitamin E
- 5 Types of Peptides
- Allantoin
- Panthenol
- Adenosine
- Sodium Hyaluronate
Is there anything like the perfect eye cream? Because the only thing missing from this ingredient list is Caffeine to really help with the puffiness. Otherwise, you have the perfect anti-ageing eye cream.
Again, I was attracted to this product because I’m a huge fan of the Snail line from COSRX which includes the super-popular COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Power Essence. So, I was excited to see how Snail Mucin would be formulated into an eye cream. Of course, you know that it will bang.
The combination of 72% Snail Secretion Filtrate and Sodium Hyaluronate ensures that your eye gets all the hydration it needs. With five types of Peptides, you get to treat early signs of under-eye ageing. Niacinamide and Vitamin E keep the dark circles at bay. Allantoin, Panthenol and Adenosine offer soothing properties to offset any kind of irritation or inflammation that might arise due to the combination of these actives.
What more can you ask for?
As always, this product is fragrance, alcohol, essential oil and cruelty-free.
Texture & Consistency
More than anything, the texture of eye creams are super important. It has to be as lightweight as it possibly can to avoid clogging the thin skin and pores around the eye area. This is why I was very impressed with the texture and consistency of the COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream.
It has a fast-absorbing lightweight texture with a creamy consistency. If you either decided to glide or tap it around your eyes, it applies smoothly and absorbs quickly without a tacky finish. It immediately just sinks into your eye area and disappears. It is not thick or sticky at all. Plus, you just need one need a pea size for each eye.
Packaging, Price & Avaliabilty.
It is packaged in a 25ml airless pump bottle which ensures that you dispense just a pea-sized amount every time you use it. Talk about saving you money. Of course, that size is sure to last you for months which is why the packing is simply brilliant. The product is well preserved and not exposed to the elements especially since it will be applied around your eye area.
It is also quite affordable as it retails for about £18/$25. You definitely won’t exhaust it in one month. So, whichever way you look at it, it is still affordable.
Review of the COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream
So, I’ve been using this eye cream for about a month now and I’m ready to share my thoughts. I prefer to use it in my night-time routine to cut down steps in the morning routine. So, I use it after my toner before my serums just so I can get it out of the way quickly.

Experience
I really enjoy using this product. It just glides smoothly around my eye area and keeps it well hydrated. It is fragrance-free so there’s no room for any eye irritation whatsoever.
I don’t have dark circles or eye wrinkles so I can’t exactly speak on its effectiveness in that regard. But based on the ingredient list and my general experience with COSRX products, I think it will help with those under-eye concerns to an extent. It’s honestly worth giving a try. If it doesn’t work for your dark circles, they are probably genetic. With five types of Peptides and Snail Secretion Filtrate, I’m sure it will help with your crow’s feet. If it doesn’t work, you’ll still have a hydrating product for your eyes. So, there’s really nothing to lose.
In Conclusion,
This is one of those products that I’ll definitely be repurchasing.
