This post will be reviewing the Sugar Coated Leg Hair Removal Kit.
I recently decided that I was ready to transition from shaving to waxing but I wasn’t sure how to go about it so I watched some videos on how to make sugar wax at home. I tried it once with a microwave and it came out so runny so I immediately gave up after that first attempt.
This was why I was so excited to be gifted the Sugar Coated Leg Hair Removal Kit by Sparkle PR. It came just at the right time when I was looking for an easy hair removal solution.

First Impressions of the Sugar Coated Leg Hair Removal Kit

It further claims to be;
- 100% natural

- Doesn’t damage the skin
- Prevents ingrown hairs
- Suitable for all skin and hair types
- Completely water soluble
- Strips can be washed & reused
- The product is instantly biodegradable and packaging is fully recyclable
- Salon quality treatment
Quite convincing if you ask me considering that I was this close to buying a Wax Heater Kit.

Anyway, my package came with 200g wax, 3 spatulas (2 big & 1 small) and 15 re-usable strips. Not forgetting a leaflet with CLEAR step by step instructions. As a result of waxing myself for the first time, I read the instructions very carefully before making an attempt. I’m so glad I did because I didn’t make any mistakes whatsoever as it turned out pretty great.
Review of the Sugar Coated Leg Hair Removal Kit.
After reading the instructions on how to use the wax kit correctly, I set out to finally try the product.

Here’s how it went down:
- I started on completely dry skin. Thankfully, I hadn’t taken a shower so I didn’t need to use Talc powder. Plus I already have really dry skin so that also helped.
- Next, I heated up the wax for about 30 seconds in the microwave as instructed. It is worth noting that the product came in as a hard wax but you should aim for a runny consistency.
- When it was warm enough to use, I went in with one leg, applied a thin layer of the wax and used the reusable strip to pull out the wax as fast I could. It was painful but not THAT painful. Not anything I could not manage anyway.
- After waxing a considerable large portion of my legs, I was SO impressed with how soft, smooth and nourished my skin was. As a result of the Rosehip Oil, the wax didn’t dry out my skin at all. Instead, you could see a visible shine and softness afterwards. Now, I understand why people love to wax despite the pain.
- There were no ingrown hairs whatsoever like you get after shaving. It was just a generally pleasant experience that I can’t wait to relieve again.
- When I was done with my legs, I waxed my underarms as well and the result was equally as amazing. It was slightly more painful but the results made up for it.
Aftercare
When I was done waxing, I went in with some Aloe Vera gel to soothe my skin because I noticed a slight redness. Other than that, my skin was fine and I was able to use actives (Salicylic Acid & Glycolic Acid) on my skin later at night after taking a shower with no irritations whatsoever.

While I was able to rinse out the wax from the spatula, I diposed the reusuable strips because I was pressed for time and I had a pack of unused strips which I had bought earlier. So, I just threw it away. But as the brand as mentioned, the strips are completely reusuable.
In Conclusion,
As you can tell, I absolutely loved using the Sugar Coated Leg Hair Removal Kit. It was such a great first experience waxing and I’m looking forward to repurchasing when I run out.
